Strengthening and rehabilitation of the link road connecting Bhucho Mandi to Lehra Bega up to its junction with NH-7 in Bathinda District, executed for PWD Buildings & Roads, Punjab. This rural connectivity project significantly improved all-season access for the agricultural communities along the corridor.
Works included milling of the existing distressed bituminous surface, in-situ reclaimed asphalt processing, fresh granular sub-base and wet mix macadam layers, followed by a new dense bituminous macadam course and bituminous concrete wearing surface. Side drains were re-profiled, culvert inlets and outlets were repaired, and retroreflective road markings were applied throughout.
The project was completed within 180 days — well within the contracted schedule — enabling the Punjab PWD B&R to commission the road ahead of the kharif harvest season, directly benefiting local farmers and transporters.
