Strengthening of Plan Road, Kotakpura–Jaitu–Chandbhan

Strengthening and rehabilitation of the Kotakpura–Jaitu–Chandbhan plan road for the Executive Engineer, PWD Buildings & Roads, Faridkot Division. The 4.5 km corridor connects the key towns of Kotakpura, Jaitu and Chandbhan and serves heavy agricultural traffic during harvesting seasons.

Works comprised full-depth reclamation of the failed bituminous surface, granular sub-base correction, wet mix macadam base, dense bituminous macadam intermediate layer and bituminous concrete wearing course — applied using our own batch mix plant and electronic sensor paver. Drainage channels were re-profiled and roadside amenities restored to PWD standard.

The project was executed and completed within the 180-day contract period and handed over to the department without deficiencies, improving road quality for thousands of daily commuters and freight vehicles on this busy inter-town corridor in the Malwa region.
