Conservation of Old Thana Monument, Jaito

Structural conservation and heritage restoration of the Old Thana Monument at Jaito, Faridkot District, for the Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board (PHTPB). This project marks JB Infrastructure’s capability in sensitive civil works beyond road construction — executed with the same rigour applied to highway contracts.

The scope included careful structural assessment, masonry conservation, lime-mortar repointing, surface cleaning and weatherproofing treatments appropriate for heritage-listed structures. All interventions were carried out in accordance with Archaeological Survey of India and PHTPB guidelines to preserve the monument’s historical character while ensuring long-term structural stability.
